“Which one do you prefer, the red can or the blue one?”
I have chosen this commercial because it shows the hard fight Pepsi and Coca-Cola have, even if it comes from Pepsi’s bakery.
Pepsi uses a very acid strategy in this case. Using the innocence of a child they send a bombletter to Coca-Cola, their eternal “enemy”. And let have a look to the slogan: “The joy of Pepsi”. They are having fun humiliating the famous drinking company, they have no fear to a reaction. And they don’t hide nothing, they use two cans of Coca-Cola without modesty, saying all clearly.
I love those kind of commercials where the originality, simplicity and double-sense messages are mixed up and this one is a very good example.
